Description
For exceptional toughness, easy maintenance and four-season interest, few ornamentals can rival the appeal of ninebark. This deciduous shrub is a favorite of cold climate gardeners for its extreme hardiness and reliability
It gets its name from its bark, which can be peeled off in several (potentially nine) thin layers.
Ninebark features dark green leaves that form an attractive cascading mound. It flowers in late spring with clusters of white blooms that attract native pollinators, and it bears red seed heads in late summer and autumn that attract birds.
A lovely addition to any landscape in Long Branch!
