Description
Alternate leaf dogwood is a Slow-growing shrub/small tree that Reaches 8 to 10 meters high. The leaves are dark green on top and light green with fine hairs below (6 to 12 centimeters long). The half is vast with 5 to 6 deep, curved veins. The leaves are alternate and arranged in clusters at the end of branches.
The Alternate leaf dogwood has a creamy white occurring in clusters in May-June. Berries are dark blue on red stalks, and grow in mid-summer
